HEJ: High Energy Jets
a High Energy Physics Monte Carlo generator for multi-jet analyses.
High Energy Jets is an implementation in a partonic Monte Carlo generator of an exclusive, all-order summation of the perturbative terms dominating the production of well-separated multiple jets at hadron colliders. The all-order treatment generates a contribution from any number of hard jets (greater than 2), and all jet rates can be fully matched to tree-level accuracy.
The acronym HEJ is pronounced much like 'hi' or 'high'.
The implementation of HEJ is distributed under the the conditions in the GNU General Public License (GNU GPL) and the MCnet guidelines.
The formalism is implemented for several processes. HEJ 2 supports
- pure multijet production
- gluon-fusion production of a Higgs boson with jets
- production of a W boson with jets
- production of two same-sign W bosons with jets
- production of jets with a charged lepton-antilepton pair, via a virtual Z boson and/or photon
